Last Wednesday, September 19, we had the pleasure of participating in the workshop Literature and Heritage, accompanying the librarian Conchita Marín Estrada and the poet, writer and university professor Juan Ignacio González, both members of the literary jury of the short story contest on industrial heritage organized by INCUNA. The event was part of the activities developed around the XXV International Conference on Industrial Heritage, which in this edition is under the title A future for our past. During the talk, our CTO José Manuel Uría explained the results of our analysis with artificial intelligence of micro-stories on industrial heritage and the state of opinion on this topic in social networks. Finding interesting points of connection with the experience of the members of the jury of the contest in addition to generating an interesting and enjoyable debate with them with multiple contributions from the audience attending this interesting activity. This undoubtedly shows that there is a present and a future for the symbiosis of literature with the theme of industrial heritage, a topic that was widely discussed during the activity, mentioning works and authors who have made significant contributions in recent years.
