As part of Cultural sentiment, one of the actions carried out has been the analysis of the sentiment of the short stories presented in the literary contests organized by the INCUNA association within the framework of its International Conference on Industrial Heritage. This kind of textual sources are very interesting since by their nature they allow us to obtain more complete and detailed information about the perception of the industrial heritage of the participants. The conclusions we can draw from this analysis are the following:

• In the narratives the presence of family bonds is very important and the connection with heritage is made with respect to the material elements of the industries as opposed to the immaterial ones.
• There is a quite clear ambivalence in most of the set of stories between the positive and negative connotation of the industrial heritage that manifests itself in a domain of neutral emotional polarity.
