The XXV INCUNA International Congress on Industrial Heritage will be held in Gijón from September 27 to 30, 2023. This year´s edition is entitled A future for our past. In this edition our CTO will participate with a paper Designing industrial heritage routes with artificial intelligence whose summary is as follows.

Artificial intelligence tools are already used for the optimal design of tourist routes and therefore have a direct application in the case of industrial heritage. But most of the scientific publications devote space to the application of solving the mathematical of the Tourist Route Planning Problem (TRP) with some version of the Traveling Salesperson Problem (TSP) to calculate the optimal trajectories between nodes using different heuristic algorithms. This paper presents another approach that analyses the choice of the main nodes of the routes by identifying the points of interest (POI) using sentiment analysis from the different tourist profiles. As a potential application case the route design in the Principality of Asturias is discussed.
